Conveyance/Conveyancer

Conveyance is the legal process of transferring ownership of a property from the seller to the buyer. This process is regulated by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and involves preparing, verifying, and registering of official documents to ensure the title is valid and free from any outstanding obligations or restrictions. Key documents typically include Form F (the Memorandum of Understanding), a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the property developer, and the original title deed.

A conveyancer, often appointed by the real estate agency or the developer, is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire transfer process. This includes coordinating with the buyer, seller, banks, DLD trustee offices, and developers to ensure that all steps are completed correctly and on time. The conveyancer ensures that all administrative and legal requirements are met, particularly in transactions involving bank financing, where multiple parties and approvals are involved.
