AECB Credit Report
An AECB Credit Report is issued by Al Etihad Credit Bureau and shows your credit history in the country. It includes loans, credit cards, payment behaviour, bounced cheques, legal hearings, and also gives you a credit score. Banks use the AECB Credit Report to assess your creditworthiness before approving loans, mortgages, or credit cards. Banks cannot access the full detailed report themselves and only see a summary version with fewer details. For this reason, applicants are requested to submit the AED 84 detailed report (and AED 154 company report if self-employed) when applying for a mortgage. These reports can be obtained instantly online using UAE Pass through the AECB website, mobile app, DubaiNow, or are also available at AECB Customer Happiness Centres.
